WordPress care & maintenance
WordPress maintenance plans that keep your site running right.
Every WordPress site needs looking after — security, backups, updates, the invisible work that keeps it fast, safe, and online. My Studio Care plans bundle managed hosting and WordPress maintenance into one clear monthly price. You focus on your business; I keep the site running right.
Real prices, right here — no “contact us for a quote.”
Managed hosting is included in every plan
30-day money-back guarantee
Priced up front, because you shouldn’t have to ask.
Most studios hide website maintenance pricing behind a form. I’d rather you see exactly what it costs and pick what fits. Every plan below is a flat monthly price, billed monthly or annually — pay annually and two months are free.
All four WordPress care plans include hosting. There is no separate hosting bill and no hosting company to deal with — your site lives on one of my servers, and the plan covers it.

I had the opportunity to work with Scott. My website had been hacked, and I transferred my site to Web Magic Studio. Scott did a great job of eliminating the threat, hosting the website, and keeping it from being hacked again. Highly reliable and trustworthy.

| Disk storage (site and any copies) | 20 GB | 40 GB | 80 GB | 160 GB |
| Traffic | Unmetered | Unmetered | Unmetered | Unmetered |
Every plan sits behind Cloudflare, so DDoS protection, the CDN, and a firewall are always in front of your site. Starter runs Cloudflare’s core managed rules, which cover the highest-impact known vulnerabilities. Standard and up add Cloudflare Pro: the full managed rulesets plus the OWASP Core Ruleset, maintained weekly and patched out of band when a serious flaw appears.
Storage covers everything in your webroot plus your database, including staging and clone copies. Off-site backups, server snapshots, and server logs don’t count toward it. Storage beyond your allocation is $1 per GB per month, added in 10 GB blocks.
Unmetered traffic
No visit limits, no bandwidth caps, no bill for a good month.
Most managed WordPress hosts meter your success. WP Engine charges per 1,000 visitors once you pass your plan’s allowance. Kinsta and Rocket.net bill by the gigabyte. A feature launch, a press mention, or a post that does unusually well all arrive as an invoice.
I rent the server outright, so a traffic spike costs me nothing and costs you nothing. Cloudflare sits in front of every site and serves cached pages from its own network, so most visits never touch the server at all. Traffic is unmetered on all four plans.
That front line is also where the firewall lives. A request Cloudflare judges malicious is refused at the edge, in a data center near whoever sent it — it never reaches your site, so it spends no PHP worker, no database query, and no bandwidth. Bad traffic costs you nothing, which is the whole point of filtering it there rather than after arrival.
Every plan gets Cloudflare’s DDoS protection, CDN, and firewall. Standard and up add Cloudflare Pro, whose managed rulesets are maintained against new attacks as they appear, and Wordfence runs on the site itself as a second layer that understands WordPress specifically.
Premium tools, included
Every WordPress maintenance package includes these premium tools.
A well-run WordPress site relies on premium tools for security, backups, performance, and email. I cover the licenses for all of them and run them on your site, so you get the benefit without buying or managing a thing. Bought individually, they’d run over $800/year on Starter, and over $1,700/year on Standard and up.
Included with your plan
I hold the licenses for these and run them on your site. Nothing to buy, nothing to renew, no cost to you beyond your plan.
On every plan — Starter and up
Added on Standard, Plus & Premium
These run on your site under licenses I hold; you get the benefit of them while your plan is active.
Your own licenses, managed for you
Sometimes your site needs something outside the list above — a booking system, a membership plugin, a specific commercial theme. There are two ways to handle it, and the difference matters if you ever leave.
Buy it yourself and the license is genuinely yours: your account, your name, your renewal. I’ll tell you exactly what to buy and get it running on your site. If you move on, it goes with you.
Or I’ll buy it for you, at cost plus a 20% handling fee. The fee covers the purchasing, holding the license keys, tracking renewal dates so nothing silently lapses, and the installation and configuration. Bought this way the license sits in my account, the same as the included tools above, so it stays with me when your plan ends.
If it’s something you’d want to keep long term, buy it yourself. If you’d rather not deal with it, let me.
What’s next
SEO plans, in the works.
A care plan keeps your WordPress site healthy. An SEO plan helps it get found. I’m building out ongoing SEO plans to go alongside these — if that’s something you’re interested in, tell me and I’ll let you know when they’re ready.

FAQ
WordPress maintenance plan FAQ
How much does website maintenance cost?
It depends on how much care your site needs — which is exactly why I publish the tiers above instead of hiding them behind a quote. My WordPress care plans start at $40/month for a simple site and go up from there based on the level of security, support, and hands-on time you want. No hidden fees; the price you see is the price.
What’s the difference between a WP maintenance plan and hosting?
Plain hosting just gives your site a place to live. A care plan is that plus the ongoing website maintenance that keeps it healthy — security, updates, backups, monitoring, and someone actually watching it. Every Studio Care plan is managed WordPress hosting and maintenance together, so there’s one place, one bill, and one person responsible.
Do I have to be on a care plan to work with you?
For ongoing hosting and maintenance, yes — a plan is how I keep a site properly cared for rather than in a vague, undefined arrangement. One-off projects (a new site, a redesign) are separate and quoted on their own.
Can you take over a WordPress site you didn’t build?
Usually, yes — free migration and setup are included on every plan. I’ll move it over, check it out, and get it onto a solid footing. If I find something that needs fixing first, I’ll tell you plainly before anything starts.
What counts as “work beyond the plan”?
Content edits are unlimited on Standard and up, and higher tiers include some development time. Anything bigger — a new page, a feature, a redesign — is billed at $150/hour, and I estimate it up front so there are no surprises.
What happens if my site gets hacked?
Every plan actively works to prevent it. On Plus and Premium, malware cleanup is included if it ever does happen. On the lower plans I’ll still help — it’s just billed as recovery work.
What if I can’t move my site to Cloudflare?
Every site I host sits behind Cloudflare — that’s where the firewall, the CDN, and the DDoS protection live — so your domain’s nameservers need to point there, and the DNS zone normally lives in my Cloudflare account. Your domain itself stays registered in your name, at your registrar, under your account. Pointing nameservers changes where DNS is answered, not who owns the domain, and you can point them somewhere else at any time without my approval or a code from me.
If your organization requires DNS to stay in an account you own, tell me before onboarding. You can keep the Cloudflare account and add me as a full administrator instead. Two things change: Cloudflare Pro on your own account is billed to you rather than included in your plan, and the plan level and security settings stay changeable from your side, so I can’t guarantee the protections your plan is paying for. If your domain is registered at Cloudflare itself, the zone can’t move to my account at all, and we’d either move the registration to another registrar or use that administrator arrangement. It isn’t my preferred setup, but it’s a conversation, not a refusal.
What if I change my mind?
There’s a 30-day money-back guarantee. The clock starts the day your site goes live on my server, not the day you sign up, so a slow migration doesn’t eat into it. Tell me inside those 30 days and I’ll refund everything you’ve paid — including an annual prepayment in full, not prorated. The migration and setup work is on me. Your original site is untouched the whole time, so you have somewhere to go back to.
How fast will you get back to me?
Within 48 hours on Starter, 24 hours on Standard, and same day on Plus and Premium, with Premium taking priority. Those are hours, not business days — a Friday afternoon problem doesn’t wait until Tuesday. Every plan also includes phone support: leave me a message and I’ll call you back.
What counts as a content edit?
Changes to what’s already there — text, prices, hours, staff, photos, a new post, a PDF swap. On Standard and up those are unlimited; send them as often as you like. Development time is different: new functionality, layout work, a new template. Standard includes 30 minutes a month of it, Plus an hour, Premium two hours, and anything beyond that is $150/hour, estimated first.
Which plan should I choose?
If you’re not sure, tell me about your site and I’ll point you to the right fit honestly — including the smaller plan if that’s genuinely all you need. I’d rather you be on the right plan than the biggest one.
